The company provides the highest quality precision diamond machining, polishing, electroless plating, beryllium machining, and opto-mechanical design and assembly service. MRC has developed custom processes to support prototype development through high-rate production of large flat mirrors, thermally stable optical mirrors, low RMS surface finish polished mirrors, diamond machined aspheric and plano mirrors, sub arc-second accuracy polygons and motor assemblies, and pit and hole-free electroless nickel and gold plating. In October 2004, MRC was acquired by Photonic Products Group, a publicly traded corporation based in Northvale, NJ.
